The Covid-19 pandemic has forced the majority of colleges to suspend their summer camps leaving it harder and harder for prospective student athletes to be seen by coaches. ID camps are a great tool for potential recruits to visit and showcase themselves and their talents. These camps give the player the opportunity to see what life on campus will be like and also introduce them to the coaching and training staff both on and off the field.
With the limited number of ID camps this summer, college coaches will need to adapt during the pandemic to keep up with recruits. It has never been more important to set up professional highlight packages. COVID-19 is doing away with the old tactics of recruiting and scouting for a lot of colleges, and instead is placing a higher emphasis on game tape submissions and highlight video submissions to get players in front of coaches.
The NBTS staff works directly with college coaches to help identify their recruitment needs by referring potential players. NBTS is progressively helping college coaches and prospective student athletes transition to their new forms of recruitment.
